Namaka Subsea and Seacroft Marine Consultants have secured a trio of projects in Singapore. The two companies announced a joint venture in May, which has resulted in several projects with the two companies collaborating.
One of the projects, included a Marine & Diving Assurance Audit for Singapore based diving contractor Hydropro, for it's their new purpose build DSV Hydropro 1. The diving support vessel is fitted with the latest generation of diving equipment and is compliant with IMCA guidance and IOGP standards. Aside from having an air diving system to support subsea operations, Hydropro 1 also has a hyperbaric deck decompression chamber on board, providing divers continuous therapeutic support during subsea diving activities.
Namaka Subsea has also provided Subsea Operation Support from the UK, Operations Director, Alan Melia, has been providing remote support to Hydropro as the Diving Technical Authority to assist with the development of their diving safety management system in-line with IMCA guidance.
