Namaka Subsea was delighted to hear that Singapore diving contractor Hydropro Pte Ltd was awarded their IMCA Membership for offshore diving contractor. HydroPro relies on valuable experience and substantial technical expertise, and their goal is to be the most competitive, most productive, and best-in-class. Consistently delivering unparalleled marine services to their customers, their work mantra is to have the hydro-capacity to meet any challenges but humble enough to have a heart to care.

Namaka Subsea assisted Hydropro through the application process by carrying out a full review of their diving safety management system and assisting with an update, as well as surveying their existing equipment. In addition, we reviewed their diving manual, company policies, dive system operating and emergency procedures, and diving medical support during the process, making sure they have the systems and processes in place to carry out diving operations adhering to the requirements of IMCA International Code of Practice for Offshore Diving IMCA D014.

In addition to the above, a review of the company personnel competence scheme was also carried out, including all diving personnel, to identify any areas within the organisation that may require additional training or personnel. Throughout the whole process, the team at Hydropro were very accommodating, and despite the unforeseen global pandemic breakout, Namaka Subsea was still able to conduct the review in a safe and timely manner.

The commercial diving services offered by Hydorpro include underwater hull cleaning, propeller polishing, still photography inspection or closed-circuit television inspection (CCTV), underwater repair, and other underwater maintenance work forms within Singapore and neighbouring countries.
