Namaka Subsea and Namaka Compliance sign a contract with an Israeli diving contractor to provide digital solutions for their diving equipment and personnel competence management.
NAMS is a cloud-based management system developed to support Diving, ROV and Marine equipment allowing approved personnel to access equipment records via any mobile device with an internet connection around the clock. With individual encrypted user logins, the client also has the assurance that their data is safe and secure.
NAMS is the first diving asset management system of its kind, not only allowing users to coordinate equipment maintenance and reduce administration tasks for dive teams. It can also be configured to deliver reports directly to their inbox and is fully compliant with international diving equipment requirements and project management scheduling.
Athena is an innovative and bespoke cyber secured competence management system that will allow the client to manage and demonstrate personnel competence with simplicity. Operating in industries where the potential for major accident hazards exists, organisations must prove that competence and training are managed effectively, and Athena will give the client this ability.
Once again, being a cloud-based system gives the client an environmental edge reducing the need for paper by up to 95%. It also reduces the requirement for overseas and offshore travel as accessors will be able to review personnel data remotely from any secure internet connection lowering their carbon footprint.
It is great to see an organisation taking this step forward to digitise its asset and competence management processes. Hopefully, soon we will see many more organisations embrace digital solutions in place of their older outdated methods.
