The last two years have been challenging for business across the globe, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made us look differently at how we conduct business. Through all the adversity we faced, Namaka Subsea and Namaka Compliance have still managed to thrive and not just survive these difficult times.
Over the last two years, our workforce has increased by 50% across the two companies. This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by the team and management alike to deliver reliable, innovative services to our clients. As a result of our growth, we have now moved into new office spaces at the Innovation Centre in the Bridge of Don Aberdeen.
Both companies have always strived to be at the forefront of technology and look for innovative ways to support our clients globally. Embracing digitisation has seen the companies design and build unique cloud-based applications. Namaka Subsea created NAMS, an online asset and content management system for Diving and ROV equipment, and Namaka Compliance created Athena, an online Competence management system.
The beginning of 2020 saw the launch of Namaka Training, but after successfully delivering two classroom-based audit and assurance awareness courses, COVID lockdown got announced. The decision was then made to make all of our training courses available through an e-learning platform, and Namaka Learning Management System (LMS) was formed.
Since launching this service, we have seen over 250 candidates participate in the courses. We never really expected this kind of reaction to this service and we are delighted that it has been such a success. We will continue to update our course catalogue and add new content, and we would like to thank all those who have used our LMS so far.
Our company-wide growth strategy will continue in 2022 and beyond as we look to introduce even more services to our existing offerings. Keep an eye out for all the exciting announcements coming soon.
Namaka Subsea offers a wide range of consultancy services globally to the oil and gas industry, such as auditing and assurance of diving and ROV contractors both operationally and technically. The provision of fully trained and competent Client Representatives through to subsea operational support and complete vessel assurance.
Namaka Compliance delivers dynamic and innovative services encompassing digital solutions to the Energy Industry: Training, Competence, Compliance, and Local Content. These services are currently being delivered in the UK and internationally. Namaka Compliance can provide Subject Matter Experts (SME) in these fields.
